About the Tokyo Game Show This Year

Making Better Use of
Limited Space

In order to accommodate the increasing number of exhibitors year on year, we will implement measures to make more use of the exhibition space at Makuhari Messe. We will review the regulations on the number and layout of booths and plan the venue more efficiently. At the same time, we will increase the number of meetings to select booth locations, so that we can respond to the needs of as many exhibitors as possible.

An Exhibit Hall Where Everyone Can Walk Around Safely

As part of our plan to alleviate congestion, we will be changing the layout and aisle widths. We will be widening the aisles more than in previous years and clarifying the exhibition rules, with the aim of creating a venue where both exhibitors and visitors can feel at ease.

Create Business Opportunities in the Game Industry

We will enhance business matching and seminars, and provide the largest business opportunity in the Asian game industry. We will also increase contact points with indie game developers and focus on creating future hit makers.

Promotion Activities

Approaching Businesspeople Overseas

By exhibiting and participating in major gaming events (such as the Taipei Game Show, GDC, Games Com, and China Joy), we will improve the recognition of TGS, and by implementing mutual promotion of websites, etc., we will provide information to visitors on business days.

Attracting Domestic Businesspeople

We will encourage visitors to register for the event by sending direct mail to businesspeople who visited TGS2024. We will also digitize the "advance registration tickets" provided to exhibitors to create an environment that makes it easier for invited guests to pre-register.

Utilizing the Business Appointment System

The business negotiation system that will be used at TGS2025 will be launched in July to support business negotiations for TGS. Businesspeople from around the world will be able to make appointments for business negotiations at the TGS venue.

Strengthening the Experience for Young People Who Will Lead the Game Industry in the Future

We plan to promote TGS to young people and motivate them to attend through official programs (streaming) and SNS (short video projects featuring young influencers, etc.), with a focus on the ticket sales period.
We will consider plans to cultivate fans from this generation not only this year, but also in the medium term.

Family-Focused

We will be posting content information for the area where parents and children can enjoy together (Family Game Park) mainly on social media.
We will be promoting the safe environment for visitors and the parent-child participation-type social media campaign, including the use of kids influencers.

Appeal to Core Fans

We plan to deliver even more comprehensive advance information than before, including information on hot titles and creators, highlights and goods information, in-depth articles and interviews featuring official supporters, and more.
We are also considering measures to motivate visitors to attend TGS again this year.

To Exhibit Procedure: Application (Worldwide)

  1. Click the "To Exhibit (Worldwide)" button on the top right of the screen.
    • Please note that the application office is different for China and Taiwan.
  2. Fill out and submit the exhibition application form (through online).
  3. Once submission is complete, you will receive an automatic reply email.
  4. TGS Management Office will verify the application details.
  5. TGS Management will send a reply accepting the application.

To Exhibit Procedure: Application (TAIWAN) (China)

  1. Click the "Application (TAIWAN)" or "参展申请" button on the top right of the screen.
  2. Please fill in the application form.
  3. Send the application form to the office by email.
    • For Taiwan send to (xtinetaitra.org.tw)
    • For China send to (xue.huirich-event.link)
  4. The office will send a reply email.
  5. The office will verify the application details.
  6. The office will send an email notifying you of the acceptance of the exhibition application.

Official Program Participation

The program slots will be decided at the "Program Slot Selection Meeting".
At the selection meeting, you will be asked to choose the slots in order of priority.
After the selection of priority ① and ②, the exhibitors in priority ③ and ④ will be informed of the available slots.
Please note that if there are many applications for exhibition, the program slots may be filled before the selection order comes around.
If there are no more slots available, the cancellation will be made without cancellation fee.

    If there are still the same conditions, then it will be decided by "lottery"In the order of priority for selection ④ and ⑤, priority is given in the order of "companies that have a real exhibition in 2025 and have a large number of booths", "companies that have met the deadline for exhibition applications", and "CESA member companies". If there are still equal conditions, a "lottery" will be held.
  • One company will be given one slot (50 minutes or 110 minutes).
    However, if there are any vacant slots at the time of the selection meeting, it will be possible to apply for multiple slots (50 minutes per slot).
